Professional Interests
Paulette Balin has practiced at all administrative and Federal Court levels. She has argued cases successfully in Federal Court, and in the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati, OH.
Because many Balin Law clients have relocated while their disability cases were pending, Paulette and her team have travelled all over the United States attending administrative hearings in many cities including Oakland, CA, West Palm Beach and Orlando, FL, Fayetteville and Sanford, NC, Greenville, SC, Atlanta, GA, Fort Worth, TX, Phoenix and Tucson, AZ, Las Vegas, NV, Detroit, MI, Logan, WV and ODAR offices throughout Ohio.
Civic Involvement
Paulette is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, Lake County Bar Association, Florida Bar Association, and a Sustaining Member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives.
She is a frequent speaker on disability law, having appeared at Multiple Sclerosis groups and conferences and numerous mental health forums, HIV support groups, fibromyalgia support groups and Hispanic social service agencies. Paulette has been a featured at speaker MetroHealth Medical Center and appeared on Fox 8’s New Day Cleveland, WERE Radio’s “Legal Lines” segment, and Ed “Flash” Ferenc’s show “America’s Work Force” to discuss Social Security Disability and its impact and prevalence in Northeast Ohio.
